I'm thankful for many things -- my family and friends, recent improvements to my health (lost 76 pounds over almost 2 years) and my diabetes is under control. Lately, I'm appreciative of the support of former co-works and the company from which I was recently laid-off. Without it, the world would be a harsh place right now. I'm thankful first of all for my "roots" which taught me about God and my Lord Jesus. With faith, my world stays in perspective and when things around me look dim........I know WHO holds the future. I'm thankful for my family, my husband of 45 years, our 6 wonderful children, their spouses, and our 25 beautiful grandchildren. My friends and my church family are great additional support. I thank God for good health, and pray for all to find faith in all situations, therefore being content and happy.
